Did I mention previously that I got a new phone courtesy of R? I've upgraded from a Samsung Corbypro to a Blackberry 9780! Working class all now but I simply refuse to sync my work email to my phone. I think I'll go crazy if I step out of the office & I still have to receive emails. Did I mention that I cancelled my gym membership & was going to attempt to exercise on my own? It hasn't exactly failed miserably but I haven't been very diligent either; one or twice a week kind of affair. Did I mention that I got a promotion too? I am now a senior account executive earning $2k every month. Goes to show that hard work, perserverance & patience really paid off. While I'm talking about work, I shouldn't forget to mention that Kay is also working with me now. Roped her for an administrative position but now she is being trained to be an account executive. Kudos to you, girl! Work hard, keep your head up & you'll be just fine. Remember the oreo cookie cupcakes that I was attempting to make previously? It was a big hit in the office but R and I agreed that it wasn't sweet enough. I guess it's more sugar & vanilla extract the next time round. My colleague, Jansen, even asked me for the recipe so that he can make them for his girlfriend for their first year anniversary. Remember the short trip that I was planning to take? It didn't happen because Japan was hit by an earthquake & tsunami so R's mum freaked out and refused to let him travel. It was such a HUUUUUUGE bummer. Anyway, R's social night happened on 18 March which marked the end of his 7-week service term in officer cadet school. The dinner was held at Mandarin Oriental & the food sucked except for the dessert. Everytime I've dinner at a hotel's banquet, I always & only look forward to the dessert. Kay & Christian came over in the afternoon to help me with hair & makeup and I must say, the hair was a bit too extravagant for my liking. After dinner, we headed over to One Raffles Place with his air force buddies & dropped by Altitude to get a few drinks. The place is AWWWWWWWWESOME! The view is breathtaking, I tell you. I wouldn't mind holding my next birthday there or something. The next day, R and I went down to Tanjong Beach Club for the full moon party. Since we didn't get the chance to go to the one in Thailand, might as well just make do with the one here. The party was in collaboration with SOL beer & the beer girls were giving away SOL frisbees which I really wanted. There was even a dunk machine where you can dunk FHM girls if you buy a bucket of SOL beer. Overall, I don't think the party was very happening. R and I were bored to death & decided to leave after Melvin, Russell & Joshua came and left after barely 5 minutes LOL. I think I'm addicted to blogshops again. Recently bought a leopard printed dress, which I saw at Far East Plaza going for $60+, from a blogshop at half price! On 24 March, we went to Johor Bahru with Benedict, Bridget, Harrison, SK, Lihao & Candice. Lunched at Secret Recipe, walked around for a bit, bought coffee from Coffee Bean. Wanted to head back to Singapore but Benedict told us that they have been stuck in a jam for the past hour so we decided to cab to Danga Bay instead since most of us have never been there. First stop: the amusement park which was SOOOOOOOO FREAKING AWESOME! Singapore should have a permenant amusement park which is those old school kind, you know. Merry-go-rounds, bumper cars, viking etc. The more old & dodgy they seem, the more fun & joy they bring HAHAHA! On the weekend of 26 March, to celebrate our 41st month-sary, R booked a chalet in Sentosa to make up for the failed trip to Phuket. Laid on the beach, played a little frisbee, dinner at Wavehouse (disappointing by the way), beer, instant noodles & Chinese movies on TV. Back to work on 28 March & looked forward to the BBQ that we were having that night. We caterd Botak Jones & ate dinner with candlelight at the terrace in our office. Romantic much? We'd so much leftover that Kay and I had them for lunch the next day. The week that just passed was hell. It went by so slowly & it didn't help that I was looking forward to the weekends. Rushed home after work on Friday to get ready for the Rock it with Utt party at Marina Bay Sands in conjunction with the Men's Fashion Week that was held for the first time in Asia. Unfortunately, the whole excitement was shortlived. The party sucked big time. The highlight, for me, was West Grand Boulevard when they performed 3 songs. After the party, Kay, Raymond, R and I walked to Makansutra to have supper before heading home. Guiltyyyyyyyy! The next day, we headed back there to catch the fashion show by Joey Samson (Philippines) & an underwear show by brands like Renoma, Armani, DKNY, Mcqueen etc. The models weren't as hot as I expected though. Yes, they have the body but they're not good looking. I rather see hot female models in underwear - NICE! Right now, R and I are planning to try to convince his parents to let us go to Langkawi/ Phuket at the end of the month. Oh yes, we're also planning to go for The Script when they come to Singapore next Tuesday! Note to self: remember to get tickets later.

It's been more than a month since I last blogged. I've no idea why I just can't pick up the habit of blogging on a regular basis. It'd totally spare me the time of typing a really loooooooong post & trying very hard to recall what happened in the past month. Nothing much has changed during this month though. I've a new hairstyle now - got it permed before Chinese New Year. I've cancelled my membership at Fitness First to save money & am trying every day to motivate myself to run when I get home from work.

Movie watched: The rebound. It is a romantic comedy about a woman discovering her husband's infidelity & decides to move to the city. She mets a guy who works at a coffee house below her apartment and hires him to be her nanny. Typical love story would pan out to them falling madly in love with each other. However, being many years older than the guy, she encouraged him to travel the world & experience new things. He adopted an Indian child while on his journey around the world, they bumped into each other at a restaurant years later & decide to pick up from where they left off. Ever since watching this movie, I've been thinking of taking an alternate route in life: go ahead with leaving everything behind, pack my bags & just go places and do things that I've always seen in movies, the internet and just live life.

Life's too short to be stuck in traditions & systems that dictate one's life with no freedom of expression & speech. As democratic as the government tries to potray the country, we're actually bounded by rules & restrictions. Unlike North Korea, we've decided to take on an extremely subtle approach to propaganda & in turn, have successfully manipulated the minds of everyone. However, being human nature, there is always a handful who yearn to break away from conformity & try to make a difference in their own lives. It seems that in modern day society, it has been instilled in our brains that education, paper qualification, materialistic things like cars, houses, stable jobs & incomes etc. are essentials & norms that one must have in order to be successful in life. It's those who decide to seek another way of life who are deemed outcasts in this society. We have become too afraid to climb out of our comfort zones. We'd rather stay onboard a sinking ship & grab onto whatever floating by that can save our lives than 'hop' onto a drifting log and see where the waves take us. I really want to get away from all this stereotypes but I guess timing is also an important part & my time is just not yet. Maybe next year, I don't know?

Anyway, Chinese New Year was spent at Melvin's place with dinner & gambling. Yearly tradition & I love it! Week after that was my 21st! R managed to get a discounted price for a room at Marina Bay Sands & it was party time. Lazed around most of the day, rushed out to get mixers at the last minute because it totally slipped my mind & everyone started coming in from 10pm onwards. Lucky for us, our room was at a corner & the rooms around us weren't occupied so no complaints!

I'd loads of fun that night. People got drunk by 2am & everything just mellowed down.
Thankfully, I didn't wake up the next morning with a nasty hangover because that'd have just ruined the perfect birthday. Turning 21 also meant that I'd to have another go at brazillian waxing & this time it was great. Towel-clenching painful but great.

Another movie watched: No Strings Attached. It was basically a typical movie where a guy & girl are friends with benefits and they try very hard not to fall for each other & when they do, one of them is living in self-denial and refuses to reciprocate feelings. Classic ending: they become an item.

19 February was spent at Orchard in the afternoon for the NATAS guerilla stunt that we did followed by BBQ at Melinda's condo in Simei. Food & chit chat; never grows old.

Took half day leave on 22 February to spend Kay's 20th with her. Met up in town & had lunch at Strictly Panckes. I'm planning to go back there another 13 times to try every pancake dish on their menu. Went to ICA to collect her passport & I went to renew mine. Raymond bought her air tickets to Melbourne for her birthday. JEALOUS MUCH!!!!!! And I just found out that they caught soundwave in Melbourne & Perth. I'm sooooooooooooooo going to kill her when she gets back. Hung around Esplanade before heading back to her place for dinner. Managed to surprise her with a cake which I thought she knew I'd all along in my bag.

I can't wait for next week to come so that I can book tickets for Phuket & apply leave for R's social night. We've hit our 40th month now & we badly need to get out of here. Trip to Langkawi in January didn't happen & I'm dying to get out of this place. Just a short getaway from everything would be really really nice. I'm also looking forward to Kay coming back on Sunday. It'd mean presents & awesome stories that'd make me feel like strangling her & packing my bags and heading over to Melbourne too. I've been learning driving for 5 months now & I've only had less than 8 lessons. My PDL is expiring next Saturday & I've yet to book my TP date. I feel like a loser. I shall aim to get my license by the end of this year. There's no wayI'm going to renew my PDL for a second time. I can't wait for work to end today. I've recently started baking & I'm kind of enjoying it. Last week, I baked chocolate chip cookies for R & my colleagues and they liked it. Tonight, I'm going to attempt to make oreo cookie cupcakes basically because I promised R that I'd make them if he passed his IPPT & he got a silver! Great job, love! I'm really proud of you. Your 7 weeks are coming to an end & you'll be handsomely rewarded with a holiday trip. I really hope you book out tomorrow!

Mother earth is dying and there's nothing we can do about it. Erupting volcano in Japan that spews hot rocks at people's homes, flooding in Malaysia that has claimed 3 lives so far, anti-government protests in Egypt, inflation etc.
Even if everyone had a sudden change of heart and decided to save the earth, it's already too late. Attempting to save the earth will just prolong the torture that all living creatures are going through.
If everyone had a sudden change of heart, it'd mean that God has created a miracle and I don't think he would want to waste miracles on people who don't deserve it at all. Personally, I think God has had enough of watching people kill each other and destroy the earth that he's getting his hands dirty and doing it himself.
When his task is done, he will wash his filthy hands and rain will pour down on earth, eradicate the old one and he'll rebuild a new world because God always forgives and gives us second chances. I swear I'm not typing this because I'm high on weed or something.
So my advise to everyone? Seriously just enjoy each day that comes.
Treasure every moment for it slips away just like how sand slips through an hourglass. I think I'm going to start living and stop worrying.
Everything will work out in one way or another. Even if it doesn't, at least you know you lived each day without regrets.

This pretty much explains how I'm feeling right now. I'm so thankful that I still have a space where I can pour out my thoughts and feelings without having to watch my words in case I'm offending someone or talking about sensitive issues.

My room got a new arrangement today but I guess I didn't set aside time to rearrange my head. I find it so typical of me to throw myself into things/ keep myself busy so that I don't think about you that much.

I think that's why I'm dreading bedtime so much right now. It's the time of the day where I've no TV shows to distract me from the fact that I miss you like crazy.

I guess I rearranged my bed so that it won't feel like something is missing when I lay down staring at the ceiling trying to lull myself to sleep. And I know I haven't blogged for almost a year and honestly, I've been avoiding blogging because when I finally sit down and do so, I always end up digging out emotions that I've kept ignoring or hiding.

You've only gone back in for a day and whenever I stop focusing on whatever I'm doing and just sit and let thoughts run through my head, I find it hard not to think about you and wish you'd annoy me with your texts and be lying here beside me right now.

I know I was getting antsy the past few days and believe me that you're wrong when you concluded that I was sick of seeing you everyday. Instead, I was angry that you'd to go back in.

Right now, I'm just keeping my head up and looking forward to wednesday when I get to see you again before you go back in for 6 more weeks.

This is starting to feel like an american solider's wife's blog but at least my heart isn't that heavy as I type this post as I know you're fighting a winning battle and no lives are at stake. I love you baby, always will.

It's funny how we never use to talk over the phone but ever since you got enlisted yesterday, I spend my whole day waiting for the time you'd text or call me. Well, at least today isn't so bad as compared to yesterday.
I cried when I got home, when I heard your voice &cried myself to sleep. Today, I didn't cry whenever I thought of you or when you called.
Today is one of the better days. 12 more days to go; it feels so stupid counting down since it's only 12 days but it feels like forever.
I want the weekend to pass by quickly so I can go back to work & just bury myself with work in the office.

The month is ending and not much has happened, really. Work has been good; having been learning different stuff everyday.
Just did my first event for IMM & I guess it's been a good experience going through the whole process & seeing everything fall together. I graduated on 20 may & the ceremony was like any other; nothing special to rant about.
Met up with the guys last sunday for high tea buffet. It was good while it lasted but the dishes got boring after that & we'd to play a game to get everyone to finish the food so that we wouldn't be charged for food wastage.
I laughed so hard I swear I'd have puked if I continued. Went to catch shrek 4: forever after.
It wasn't as good as the first 2 installments & in fact I thought part 4 was pretty redundant. Oh well, the movie IS for kids anyway so I guess the storyline can't be too complicated.
I attended my first meeting with a client - CAG on monday with my supervisor & boss. A real eye opener to see what happens during such meetings.
Baby & I caught the last song on wednesday to 'celebrate' our 31st month. The movie was definitely a tear-jerker & I realize nicholas sparks' stories always involve someone having an illness.
I guess that's his trademark & it never grows old. R & I went to sentosa yesterday to make use of the good weather these days to frolick under the sun.
I'm pretty sure both of us got sunburnt to some degree. Attempted to play frisbee but the sand was so freaking hot that we went into the water every few minutes.
Showered & headed to resort world sentosa to have chilis for lunch. The food is gooooooooooooood & the prices are affordable.
This is one place we'll definitely be going back, trust me. Walked around for a little & the victoria's secret store is a huge disappointment.
Came back home for a nap before heading out to hard rock cafe with hairy, donovan, kay & R. That event was a real letdown too.

In our desperate search for alcohol last night, we ended up at yilong's place sipping vodka tropical with orange juice & sprite & watched bachelor party 2. Now I'm regretting waking up after only 6 hours of sleep because I'm feeling sleepy already.

More than words

So, I haven't blogged for awhile because my life has been turned upside down, literally. I'll come to that in a bit.

Met siti on the 28th to register my basic theory test which is on 30 june. Still a long way to go but I'm a little excited that I'm going to start learning driving soon.

Now comes to the part where my life gets turned upside down. My relatives from philippines arrived on the 30th for a 5 day vacation in singapore.

There was 12 of them! And ALL of them managed to fit in my house.
5 of them slept in the living room & 7 slept in my room. Seriously, I find it very very very amazing how that happened.

The crowd was overwhelming and siti's parents were going to malaysia for the weekend so I decided to sleep over at her place. Really good timing & it's been FOREVER since I slept over at her place.

Spent saturday in tampines, had good lunch, shopped a little & had dessert at swensens. Met up with baby, hairy, donovan, lihao & candice at pasir ris park for a mini drinking session by the beach.

Woke up the next day at 2pm & spent the afternoon watching movies until we got so sticky & uncomfortable that we decided to shower & head to downtown for dinner. Had subway & it was goooooooooooooood.

Been forever too since I'd subway. Sadly, I'd to return home because I was STARTING WORK THE NEXT DAY!

Full time joooob - excited yet sad. Excited because I can finally start earning money but sad because I can't bum around anywmore.

But I think I'm more excited because bumming around was really starting to get to me. So here I am, on a saturday after going through 1 week of work.

Not too bad I must say. The amount of work is starting to pick up & I already have work to do over the weekend that I must submit to my boss on monday.

One good thing about working is that you've something to look forward to - the weekends & I'm going to cherish my weekends a whole lot more haha. My friday night was spent having buffet at 7th storey with alvin, donovan, honghui, hairy, sharlene(?), lejin, yilong & baby to celebrate donovan's birthday.

The buffet was really worth the money. Headed to zouk after that in honghui's car which is a convertible!

OHMYG it was awesome, I tell you, except the part where my hair gets messed up hahaha. Arrived there & the queue was effing long.

Thank god we weren't planning to club. Got a bottle of midori & jager from holiday inn before heading to the riverside to drink.

Unfortunately/ fortunately, none of us got high/ drunk except sharlene(?). I was surprised that I didn't get high despite drinking most of the midori & having been awake for more than 12 hours.

Went back home in honghui's convertible AGAIN! Hahahaha.
We'd an awesome awesome night :D

And we should have more awesome nights before honghui &baby enters tekong!

The past week has been pretty uneventful. My laptop crashed & it took me a few days to figure out how to recover it.

Baby's interview with the singapore police force has been postponed to this friday due to the lack of time last friday. They'd better step it up!

He has already received his enlistment letter for 4 june! HAHAHAHA.

Worked a bridal fair at grand park hotel on saturday. Nothing much to do except inform couples of the wedding package that we've as well as get them to take a look at the party limo buses that we brought there.

Thankfully my boss asked me to switch with my other colleague so I didn't have to stand outside under the unpredictable weather in my heels. R met me after that & we had lunch at raffles city's macdonalds.

Walked to suntec city after to get his handphone's screen protector & decided to head back to change for a chalet because I couldn't take it walking around in my heels anymore. Waited for him to get the car but the tyre blew & they had trouble changing it so we took a cab down to the chalet.

Basically, it was like any other chalet with chicken wings, hotdogs, crab sticks & alcohol. We'd fun catching up, laughing & listening to honghui complain about enlisting into the army being the end of the world.

Yesterday was our 30th monthsary & we decided to try the food at 'mad for garlic'. It was a very different experience for our tastebuds; very peculiar with our personal likes & dislikes.

It is worth a try but we'd won't be returning anytime soon. HAAHAHA.

And it's definitely not a place where couples should go on their first date. Imagine the garlic breath, burping & farting after that; defintely not very pleasant for a first impression!

Went down to the cathay to catch 'the bounty hunter'. Quite a dry introduction but it got exciting from the middle to the end.

Walked down to bugis to get a belt from bugis street before heading to arab street for shisha. A wonderful date after quite some time.

Walking around town hand-in-hand, still being able to talk & laugh with each other after 30 months and not being afraid that we'd get bored just sitting down somewhere & chilling out. Thank you for the card you made, baby. You always make my day too (:

Oh and I forgot to add that R and I went to school today to collect our graduation gowns. New faces all around & suddenly school feels so foreign.

Then we'd lunch at ITAS & I'd tom yummmmmmmm (get it get it). Long awaited tom yam; tastes like heaven.

So, the interview at Republic Polytechnic didn't go well, I guess. Have not heard from them since wednesday so I guess it's a 'no'.

After the interview, I took a bus from woodlands interchange to tampines & got stuck in a traffic jam on the way there. Apparently, a lorry had flipped over on its side & the goods it was carrying spilled out.

Then the meeting venue with my primary school girlfriends got changed to pasir ris. So, I'd to take another bus down to downtown east.

Met up with all of them & had dinner at pastamania. It was awesome, I tell you.
Catching up with each other current lives & reminicsing the past never fail to crack us up. This is a group of girlfriends I'm really lucky to have & still be able to keep in contact with them.
I find it really great that we can meet up & talk about anything & everything without the fear of being looked down on or embarrassed. We've all been there & done that!

Baby came to pick me up from downtown east & sent 2 of my girlfriends home as well. We're planning to have a chalet from the guys sometime in july.

I hope it comes true! We haven't had a drinking session together before & I've a feeling it's going to be really interesting.

Oh oh! Alvin, hairy, R & I went prawn fishing on tuesday night again.
We rented 2 rods & caught a total of 25 prawns. All of us caught something that night except R.
I guess it just wasn't his luck that night. I highly doubt we'd be going back there anytime soon.
When I told my mum about it, she seemed really interested so I guess the next time I ever go prawn fishing would be with my mum & her friends. I'd stand to gain as I get prawns to eat & my rod gets paid for!

Thursday started with an interview at jean yip for an events executive position. I'm hoping to hear the verdict from them by wednesday!

Up until now, I'm still keeping my fingers tightly crossed. Headed home after that & waited for R to get the car so we could head to east coast with chance for a picnic.

All in all, the picnic turned out well despite it being last minute. It was a really nice, relaxing afternoon by the beach.

It's something that we've been wanting to do for quite some time but didn't find the right time to do so. Friday was spent in town with me having a facial appointment followed by a little shopping.

Met up with Alvin, hairy & sk at cafe cartel for late dinner & spent a looooooooong time deciding what to do on a friday night. After much deliberation, we headed to baby's house to get the car before going for KTV at katong.

Unfortunately, it was closed when we got there & ended up playing pool instead. Saturday was spent at home with R playing around with dreamweaver.

I must say I'm pretty good at it despite it being the first time I've used such a software & the homepage is almost up! I spent yesterday night on my first job assignment as a freelance event/ party planner.

I'd to report to my boss' house first which is around sixth avenue & it's daaaaaaaaaamn nice! Huge & everything with a swimming pool &&&&&& they own a bently, bmw, ferrari & lamborghni!

Freeeeeeeeeaking hell! Last night's party was for an indian girl who was turning 20.
They aren't exactly the party people I'd expected them to be so it wasn't that exciting. The only thing I liked from last night's assignment was the part that I got to photograph the whole event with a DSLR :D

And now we're back to monday - boring ole monday & to make it worse, it has been raining the whole day. Baby got shortlisted for an interview with the singapore police force!

His interview is this friday & I reeeeeally hope he gets it. Right now, I'm waiting for dinner to be ready & I'm planning to ask R to buy tau huey for me after he plays soccer!

Sad to say, I gave into temptation and cooked instant noodles for myself at 1am because I'd a late lunch &skipped dinner. Woke up at 10.30am today despite the lack of sleep and took a cab to IMH, yes you heard it right.

I AM NOT CRAZY. I'm just taking part in a research study and who wouldn't want to go to a place like that & take some simple tests & earn $50 for each visit.

Came home to shower after that & took a cab with baby to toa payoh for lunch. We'd dim sum at fortunate restaurant :D

Sadly, their selection of dim sums today were very limited. We didn't get to eat xiao long bao!

Walked around for awhile to get my essential stuffs before heading to courts to collect grocery vouchers for my mum. R left to go meet his parents & I headed to ubi to tutor my sister.

Boring boring day. Thank god there's some form of a plan tomorrow.

I've a job interview at Republic Polytechnic tomorrow for a management support officer position. I don't know whether I really want the job because I don't really want to help them make their polytechnic 'successful' because honestly, my impression of that school isn't very good.

However, when money & experience are at stake, I guess I've to put all these aside. Then I'm having dinner with my primary school girlfriends at tampines' pastamania.

Am really looking forward to seeing them & just catching up. It's been almost 2 years, I think.

Baby stayed over on saturday which totally made up for the lack of 'dates' we haven't been having. Walked a street away at 1am to get a double cheeseburger, strawberry sundae & a big bag of Lays.
Yummmmmmay! Came back & watched 'Splinterheads' on my laptop followed by 2 episodes of 'How I met your mother'.
My sunday was basically spent lazing around after he left for a family dinner. I am trying to learn how to use Dreamweaver but just looking at all the codes and different functions drove me to boredom and insanity.
The thought of going prawning have been brought up many times for the past few days but we didn't get down to doing it. So, yesterday, Alvin, hairy, baby & I headed to the prawning place in Bishan around 1ish.
Both of them needed R to go because they didn't dare to hook the prawn in case any was caught. HAH!
Being our first time there, we were filled to the brim with excitement and enthusiasm. However, the wait for a catch was taking a gruelling toll on us and just 30 minutes into our 3-hour session, we were all complaning that it was boring.
Soon enough, patience paid off & I caught the first 2 prawns! Beginner's luck, I must say.
So at 4.30am, the total prawn tally came to 8 prawns. HAHAHAHAHAAH!
Quite pathetic as compared to the other people who were there but believe me, we will be returning there again soon. It's addictive in a way that it's relaxing yet exciting; stepping in that place is like returning to the old kampong days where shelters were made of wood & dried leaves & stray animals running about.
Today, as the week starts again, baby & I started exercising again by swimming which was nearly impossible in the afternoons. Dozens of swimming classes are always being conducted & we've have to literally squeeze in whatever space that is available.
At least we managed to cramp in 8 laps before the olympic pool got infested by rowdy imbeciles. Screaming and splashing children just makes the little 15 minutes of tanning session that we had so incredibly agonizing.
Now, I'm feel huungry but I'm restraining myself from walking into the kitchen & looking for something to eat. Seriously, no more supper as long as I can resist it.
That is the same for you too baby. Your tummy is no longer as 'flat' as before; I see a tiny bulge sticking out already!

You always claim that you want to spend the whole day with me. However, you also always seem to take forever to show up & I end up spending my whole day anticipating your arrival.
Everytime I hear the lift door open, I look out my window to see if it's your head that will pop out but all that the sound of beeping lift doors leads to is false hope.
Now there's only less than half the day to spend with you and there's almost nothing much to do at night because of the fact that we don't have the money to spend and adequate transportation. It sucks to know that we could have gotten so many things done given the fact that we had more 'sunlight' time & yet you don't cherish the wise old saying that 'time waits for no man'.

It's been awhile since I last logged in to my blog account and I apologise for it, baby. The past 3 months have just been fleeting by and my life has been drifting by aimlessly.

Having to wake up every morning with no aim in life is seriously taking a toll on me. It sucks that I can't do sooooooo many things because I've no job and hence, no money.

Had stalls at flea market in february (wavehouse) and april (scape). Profits weren't a lot but at least we managed to breakeven which is good enough.

I want to shop. I want to alter my clothes.

I want to print pictures to put on my wall. I want to a queen size bed.

I want a new curtain rod and curtains. I want new bedsheets.

I want a desk and chair so I don't have to hunch over my laptop all the time. I want the TV and drawers out of my room.

I miss school ):

Actually, I miss group meetings. It sucks that the last semester was so short because my group and I were finally bonding.

I'm happy that I've finally learnt how to control how much alcohol I drink each time I go clubbing. I agree with hairy that the hangover sucks BIG TIME.
Moving on, R and I have been together for 29 months and because I love him so much, I'll try to get back the habit of blogging for the benefit of him &us. I just find it so endearing that I can wake up everyday &still long to see him.

It's been a long time since we've watched a movie in the cinema but because we're short of cash, we've resulted to downloading movies &burning them into a CD to watch. Oh, and I'm craving for pizza RIGHT NOW but I feel super sinful to have anymore supper before sleeping.

I started exercising on Tuesday &it has been 3 consecutive days that I've done so & I'm definitely feeling better of myself.

Studies wise, I'm glad that I've survived 3 years of polytechnic life and am going to be officially graduating on 20 may. My mum seems psyched about it and has already taken half-day leave for me (:

I guess it's these kind of small gestures that shows that she still loves me. I've no definite plan whether to study in australia, singapore or study part-time while working full-time.

It sucks that my family is financially unstable. As for the job hunt, it's going nowhere ):

Been for numerous interviews but to no avail. It sucks that they won't hire you because you've no experience.

Like one of my customers at the pub I used to work at said, "How can you get experience if they won't hire you!?" Soooooooooooo true; totally makes no sense when they say that fresh graduates lack experience.

Oh, I forgot to mention that R has gotten his driving license! (:

It's about time that I register for mine but I'm waiting to go with siti. So I'll wait patiently, no hurry anyway; it's not like I've a car waiting for me to drive.

Christmas & new year are coming & I'm dead broke. I have yet to get presents for R & my mum plus I've my $200 phone bill to clear as soon as possible because it's totally cut off right now.
It totally sucks. I'm like un-contactable right now.
Internship ended on a good note, I guess. Made brownies for my managers on my last day & they bought us pizza for lunch.
Mum went to malaysia over the hari raya haji weekend & R stayed over with me. Celebrated our 25th monthsary by cooking our own dinner.
The cereal prawns did not turn out as good as expected. In fact, it was too salty.
So was the canned alphabet soup. Hah major disaster.
Went to a party at the wave house on the 28th & I got plain, knocked out drunk BEFORE MIDNIGHT. So, I missed out on the whole party; was lying on the chair the whole time until 3am.
This is badddddd, so very bad. I'm SERIOUSLY not going to get drunk again.
The feeling is horrible beyond words can explain. Had a girls' night out with crystal & sity on wednesday.
First time at attica for me before going over to butter factory. The whole night was a total waste.
I guess my stomach wasn't ready to take in alcohol again so I didn't drink much at attica & by the time we reached butter factory and managed to get sity sober, it was already 2ish and everyone knows that they close at 3am.
Then there was this whole waiting game for half an hour & by the time they went to dance, I was ready to bail. R, sweetly, went all the way there just to meet me & send me home.
I swear he's the best ever. Actually trusting me to go clubbing without him is a feat that most guys can't do to their girlfriends.
I'm the luckiest.

After one week of self-declared holiday, I finally returned to school & am bombarded with projects and individual journals.
Piles & piles of work and reports to be done in 2 months. This is crunch time.
And recently, several have asked me what I'm planning to do after I graduate. My answer, honestly, is I've no clue yet.
I don't know whether I'd want further studies or go off into the scary working world. If I'm furthering my studies, which university; local or overseas.
If I'm off to the real world, what job am I going to look for? I swear this is the hardest & scariest decision I've to ever make in my life.
OH SARY IS BAAAAACK!!!!!!!!! We met up on thursday to go cycling from east coast to changi.
It was a total distance of 10km & it took us 2hours. It wasn't back-breaking but more like ass-breaking.
Surprisingly, it wasn't very tiring & the route was easy. I guess I enjoyed myself so much that I brought R cycling on saturday too heh.
Went out to town yesterday to check out forever 21 & cotton on at 313 as well as soak in the christmas lights. I'm loving this new mall but it's awfully hard to resist the temptation to shop especially now that everyone is doing their christmas shopping.
Oh god sometimes I hate that I'm a girl.

1 month has flown by SUPER fast & I'm finally nearing the finish line of my internship. Excited much?
I can barely wait. The last four days are going to be torturing, just watching the hours tick by.
Have I told you that I'm a part of this study with IMH on youths that have mental disorders? Don't worry, I'm not crazy.
I fall into the 'normal' category. I've been for 2 sessions & I find it pretty interesting.
The scary part is having my blood drawn but it wasn't so bad after all. Plus, I get compensated with $50 everytime I go for a session.
I have a brain scan coming up in december & that would mean $100 compensation for me. VERY AWESOME.
I think this study is very different & I'm lucky to be going through this. In a way, I'm helping a good cause; helping them find out what the signs of troubled youths are.
My internship has been rather fruitful. I've learnt quite a bit about the retail industry - what goes behind everything.
So, I think I'm ready! Anyone willing to spare $50,000?
I'd be eternally grateful.

On 6 november, benedict, melinda, xiao ping, yilong, R & I went for a 'night picnic' at changi. Not as awkward as I thought it would be.
Enjoyed myself quite a bit & we definitely had a few laughs. It was a nice change from the mundane work week.
Was suppose to go kayaking the next day but they couldn't wake up so R & I decided to take a trip to johor for the fun of it. Actually, the main reason was to go eat Kenny Rogers at a cheaper price!
HAHA! Did a bit of shopping; spent $50 in all.
Halfway through shopping, a fire alarm test was carried out & the shopping mall went to like FREAKING LOCK DOWN. The shutters were closing and a huge cloth covered every single escalator.
I swear I thought terrorists were coming. At least that made the trip there a little less ordinary.
Went tanning the next day & I still have leftover skin peeling. I'm never going back to downtown east to tan again.
I used to think that hougang swimming complex was dirty & algae-y. However, it turns out that the place is clean & rather empty for weekends which is awesome.
OHMYG! And I really need to STOP SHOPPING.
I've a new piece thrown into my cupboard every week. This is very very very very very bad.
When my mum does the laundry, she's going to kill me & feed me to her fish. That's why I've decided to forgo tomorrow's flea market & stay home and be a thrifty person.
Last friday, benedict, melinda, xiao ping & R came over for POOOOOOKER NIGHT! It seems that I shouldn't gamble at all; not in any form.
I've really unlucky hands. Thank god I restrained myself & didn't try to get back my loss.
In the end, I lost $10 and it was painful enough. Never ever going to gamble again..... unless it's chinese new year.
Went tanning AGAIN last saturday & headed to a flea market at upper bukit timah with benedict and melinda. It was the saddest one I've ever seen.
Really really miserable. There were barely 10 stalls, I think.
We finished the ENTIRE tiny flea market in 5 minutes! HAHA!
Went down to pasir ris park for dinner & drinks after that. I really miss pasir ris ):

I want to move back there as soon as possible, please! I miss the beach & the closeness of everyone.
I miss just throwing on a jacket & walking there whenever I was feeling down or just needed to get out of the suffocating house. That place was my confidant, a place where I could cry and the wind would listen & soothe me.
I just want to go back there. I'm pretty sure I left a huge part of my heart there.
I feel I'm not as sentimental as before; it's like as if my heart has gone cold. I seldom cry & whenever I do, it would only a few tear drops before I tell myself to stop so that my eyes won't be puffy the next day.
I could cry as much as I wanted or at least until I felt better before because I knew that when I woke up the next day, I've friends in school who will comfort me. Right now, I feel like it's me against the world sometimes.
All my friends are in the east. It really sucks to be so near yet so far away.
I miss being just a bus ride away from siti. We were there for each other whenever one was down & all it took was a phone call and I'd be on the bus there.
Saying all these makes me feel like a 'girly girl'. Guess I've been so used to putting up a strong front lately that it's so hard for me to show any emotion & it really sucks.

ANYWAY, putting all these sappy-ness aside, R & I caught paranormal activity on tuesday. The starting was really draggy & boring.
The scary-ness only picked up during the last few scenes which haunted me that night when I went to sleep. I was practically slapping and grabbing his arm because I was so frightened.
But after R told me that the whole show isn't a REAL footage, I felt much better. I say you all should catch it but be prepared to feel dizzy at one point or another because the whole movie was caught on a video camera.
I actually felt like pucking halfway through the show. I heard a couple leave & the girl was saying that she didn't want to stay and watch anymore.
Sounds like a harrison, doesn't it? Went to the flea market at home club today & walked away with good buys.
Spent $21 in total on a ring, necklace & dress. I say it's good money spent but no more money shall be spent.
Walked down orchard road to take 5 to expo for the john little sale. I was so tired by the time we reached there that I didn't feel like shopping anymore so we bought snacks & took a bus home.
Watched 'made of honour' on my laptop just now. Talked to siti over the phone for awhile just now & it felt really nice.

The weekend has been awesome. Correction - the whole month has been great.
My internship has been the same, getting work as & when I'm needed to complete something. There's only 1 more month until the end! Exciting much.
So, what has the month brought me ever since the last update? R & I had dinner at a new restaurant called 'fatboy's burger bar'. It's at upper thomson road & the food is great!
You get to build your own burger or choose from those they created. Not exactly cheap but it's worth a try.
Oh oh! But you HAAAAVE to try the beer battered onion rings.
It's super awesome. Head there & try it with a mug of beer; you'll enter heaven!
Had our share of movies too. Caught 500 days of summer, sorority row & my sister's keeper.
500 days of summer was a nice movie about love, sprinkles of humour in every scene keeps everyone intrigued by the witty-ness of the show. Sorority row was plain thrilling & gross; unexpected twist to the story that didn't make the movie the usual 'murderer killing everyone' plot.
My sister's keeper is simply heart-wrenching. You could hear sniffling throughout the whole movie & I was guilty as charged.
Also, R & I hit our 24 months. So on my part, I planned a picnic for the both us.

Got recepies off the internet & made potato salad, macaroni salad & cajun fried chicken. Did that get your tummy rumbling all over again?
Haha. Had nachos with salsa sauce & sparkling juice too!
The food was great, not exactly what I expected, but passable for my first try (:

It was really just a nice, relaxing day by the beach, away from all the hustle of life. Part 2 of our celebration was carried out yesterday.
R, it's okay that your initial plan didn't follow through. We'll just save the money to go to langkawi in february/ march!
So, initial plans to hit the wavehouse, tan & stay at the siloso beach resort didn't come through but the back-up plan was good enough. Got a room at copthorne king's hotel for the night, shopped around orchard & watched soccer back in the hotel room with beer & chips.

I'm super super sorry for falling asleep while waiting for 12am to come & ended up not hitting clarke quay for drinks instead. I seriously hope you're not mad but I really enjoyed myself this weekend.
Just spending it with you would have made everything great but what you did just made this day even more special. Now we're back home & back to reality.
Aaaaargh! If only I could stop the world & just stay in your arms under that comfy blanket for as long as I wanted.

At this very moment, I'm having mixed feelings. I'm feeling excited yet anxious although I know that being anxious is completely redundant.
We're hitting the big 2 in two days time & I'm feeling all jittery. I know that nothing bad is going to happen within these two days but I can't help it.
4 years ago, I came THIS close to hitting this mark & I completely missed it. I never knew I'd be here again so soon & I'm thankful for that.
Let's just say, I'm happily in love & have never once regretted about this. I find this pretty odd of me since I never had so much tolerance for a guy before.
I've seen myself in some situations whereby I would have called it 'quits' but being with this boy, I just seem to forgive & forget easily. Maybe it's the way he makes he feel when I'm around him & his friends.

I figured things would be different. I thought she would be happy.
However, time &time again, I see her get hurt over and over. I've no idea whether the fault lies on her or him but seeing her like that just aches my heart.
I already lost one & I'm not ready to lose another. She seems so brittle and vulnerable.
The worse is, she won't tell me why. We were never close; never shared anything with each other.
Now, when things are like this, I come to regret not trying harder to bond with her. A huge wall stands between us &our relationship is based solely on fulfilling roles.

It's been awhile. To be exact, it has been 3 weeks.
3 weeks of dull 8.30 - 6pm office job. 3 weeks of staring at the computer the whole day.
I swear my eye sight is going to deteriorate after the end of my internship. I highly doubt the trees in the the botanic garden are going to help at all.
So, my internship has been filled with busy days &days which I do nothing at all. To make it worse, september's pay will only come in at the end of october.
If it wasn't for my father, I would be DEAD BROKE. I seriously dread this.
I'd to give up tutoring &my job at a pub, which pay really well, for this cheap labour nonsense. I really see no point in this 3 months.
A lot has happened. People falling in &out of love yada yada; stuff like this.
It has been work then home for the past 3 weeks. Can't do stuff after work, like catching a movie, because by the time I reach home, I'd be dead tired &have a high risk of missing work the next day.
However, I'm really proud of myself for actually being able to wake every morning despite the fact that I'm NOT a morning person at all. Anyway, the past 2 weekends have been spent PAAAARTYING!
Didn't get high/ drunk as I always do. Intoxication was a screw up because of the lack of alcohol and the damn fight that broke out.
Friday was drunkfest & I played 'door bitch' for the night. I dare say that the whole party was better than intoxication because there was sufficient alcohol but there could have been more.
There wasn't any fights but the cops still came because of the noise level. For those planning to host huge parties, DO NOT EVER book aloha loyang.
The management there is effed up. Right now, harrison is liable for $3k worth of damages & I've a feeling that most the damages are bullshit.
WHERE IN THE WORLD CAN SOMEONE GET A LADDER AT A CHALET?! Apparently, they claim that there was a ladder on a fence or something like that.
Bullshit, I tell you. COMPLETE UTTER RUBBISH.

It's already 11pm which means bedtime for me or else there's a chance I'll miss work tomorrow!

The long awaited posting of my internship finally came today. Managed to get only 2hours of sleep. I think I was feeling kind of excited yet fearful. However, I guess I'm happy with where I am. I'd be working at the singapore botanic gardens for the next 3months. I think I'd like it because it's more towards the events management side which is soooooo what I wanted. The down side is that it's reeeeally far! Working hours are from 8.30 - 6pm & I might even have to work during the weekends.

Well, at least I'd get the weekday off :D

I've feeling I'll enjoy myself. The most sucky thing would be the waking up. I swear everyone who knows me well/ long enough should know that I'm a HORRIBLE morning person. Anyway, we reap the rewards of doing the ben &jerry's project today by getting a free scoop from them. Had teppanyaki with R at tampines mall before taking an hour long bus ride to vivocity to get our ice cream :D Kiasu much, I know rightttttt. At least I got to catch up on sleep. It's better to redeem it now then leave it to later. Doubt I'd have to time to travel there or even remember to do so. Came home &took a 4hour nap. So I guess I'm going to have trouble falling asleep again.

I've been meaning to blog but blogger keeps getting eff-ed up whenever I try. So I gave up &just left the days to pile up.
Finally, I'm at home with nothing to do &have no control over the TV so I'm resorting to blogging. Let's see, our 22nd anniversary & R's birthday was spent in kuala lumpur.
Wanted to go on a short getaway &his birthday was the exact perfect reason to do so. Went there by budget airline in the weeeeee hours of the morning.

Kudos to his parents for waking up before the sun was even out to send us to the airport (:

We were really stoked about flying there because it has been aeons since either one of us has ever gone overseas by plane. Checked in &had one of those "chinese" breakfast - half boiled eggs, butter toast &tea.
HAHA! Sounding really old.
The flight was suuuuuper short. It took barely 40minutes.
My excitement died down when the plane prepared to take off because I HATE flying. I get really naesous everytime &basically, I just kept quiet the whole time.
OH YES, R decided to risk it &bring his cologne eventhough you're not allowed to carry liquid stuff on the airplane. And guess what?
It got confiscated &thrown into the bin. That expensive cologne that I, painstakingly, won by filling in lucky draw forms.
I swear harrison or alvin is going to kill him for doing that. HEH!
Anyway, after landing, we took 30minutes to figure out how we were going to get to our hotel &thank God we eventually did and saved quite a bit of money by NOT taking the taxi. Took a bus, monorail &walked all the way to our hotel.

Managed to get early check-in &was glad we were situated in a nice area with shopping centres &nightlife all in walking distance. First stop was this HUUUUGE shopping centre, the pavilion, that's like ion; expensive brands &all.
Had lunch at this place called "the pancake house" which served pancakes, waffles as well as normal food. Window shopped a little but decided to ditch that place &head to another shopping centre as prices there were the same as singapore.

Ended up at sungei wang plaza which is more of like far east plaza. Was reeeeeally tempted to buy a pair of converse shoes that was only S$28 but didn't.
R finally bought a checkered shirt after walking around for damn long & I was in desperate need of refueling. Had dinner at this teppanyaki place which was a big disappointment.
Meat too chunky &chewey and in a whole, kind of bland for me. Didn't even make it through half of it.
Being typical tourists, we decided to walk to the petronas towers. Was a pretty short walk, surprisingly, and we sat there for awhile before heading to a nearby bar for drinks.

WE GOT CHEATED! The place was kind of empty except for 1or 2 tables occasionally.
I'd a tequila sunrise & R had sex on the beach which amounted up to S$20. After paying &leaving, we walked past their little chalkboard sign &it read "Ladies night. Ladies get free drinks."
Honestly, we weren't pissed; just very amused by them only deciding to bring the sign out after we left. Retired to the hotel after a long day &watched axn until we fell asleep.
Second day began at 1pm &we went back to the pancake house for brunch. We ordered pancakes this time around &it was a really heavy meal.
A pity that I didn't get a picture to show you how high the pancakes were stacked. Headed back to sungei wang plaza to complete the rest of it.
Bought a long black tube dress & 2 tee-shirts from FOS for each of us. Last shopping centre was berjaya times square &it's also VERY BIG.
Storeys after storeys of stores &there was also an indoor theme park, bowling, arcade &a cinema theatre. Saw this really awesome &pretty dress that is from ed hardy.
Costed S$50 & I really wanted it badly but I couldn't bare to spend so much on a dress. Oh well ):

Had dinner at wendy's. If you didn't know, their burgers have square patties instead of round ones. Nothing special though. We decided to eat there because we've heard of it but not tried it before. Sadly, there's nothing to rave about that meal. With not much time, money &things left to do, we decided to catch a movie at the pavilion (the first shopping centre we visited).
Bought tickets to "I love you, beth cooper" which was only S$20. Their popcorn is dirt cheap!

If I'm not wrong, it's only S$2.50 for a combo! I swear nowhere else can beat this.
The movie was good but not great. Enough laughs to go around to make the money's worth.
Last day was spent at berjaya times sqaure for lunch, bought shades &waited for our coach back to singapore. 6hours of bus ride that was constructively used to catch up on sleep.

Hopefully the next time around, we'd be able to make a trip with a group of friends instead (:

Got back just in time for the last day of baybeats. Caught anberlin acoustic set as well as their set at powerhouse.

Truly the highlight of this year's baybeats. If it weren't for them being here, baybeats would have been a huge bore.
The ambassadors were good too. They sound kind of punk rock but I liked them.
I want them &urbandub to come back to singapore again! Pleaseeeeee!
Caught "Final destination 4" with R on monday. I looooove final destination - all 4 parts of it.

Blood &body parts splattering everywhere; the whole thrill of watching the show. I'd really love to watch it with harrison &see how pale his face gets :D

Long awaited plans to go clubbing finally came true on wednesday. Finally got to wear the new pair of heels that I bought.
Met up with the gang at butter factory &there was already a queue at 9.15pm. Insane much? Luckily, we'd friends who had friends at the front of the queue. Everything sounding good so far yeah?
Then the worse came &the worst only happened to me that night. SERIOUSLY!
Melinda didn't have her IC, only her ez-link; so did I. She was in front of me &she managed to get the club stamp.
When it came to me, the bouncer asked where my IC was & I told him that I didn't bring it. He blatantly told me to get out of the queue &get my IC.
I shall leave out all emotion because talking about it will just make me so pissed off again. Let's just say I tried 2more times with 1 of it engaging my friend's help to get me through the VIP queue &still he wouldn't let me in.

If I was insane, I'd have punched him but I was just so darn furious that I cried :x

JUST SO YOU KNOW, I didn't cry because I couldn't club. That's stupid.
I cried because it was so damn bloody unfair &that asshole just HAD to spoil my last night of clubbing before I start my internship. So there, I think I'm going to boycott butter factory.
Thankfully, the gang came up with plans to hit powerhouse yesterday night because of the free entry. So I'm happy to say that I've had my fill of clubbing for the time being.

Just looking forward to the parties that are already lined up to occupy my weekends. Something to look forward to as I go through my internship (:

Bills, bills, bills! I got to pay my bills.

So, I've only 2weeks left until my internship starts. I keeping my fingers crossed that I get something interesting or something good.
The last I checked in was before my end-semester tests &now that it's all LOOOONG over, I basically screwed one paper.
Wonder when the results are coming out. I registered for that SMS thing where I can get my results, not a very good idea.
The worse thing that can spoil someone's day is waking up to bad grades. Heh.
National day was just another holiday in my calendar. Nothing special but nothing boring.
The guys were suppose to come over for steamboat but due to the lack of funds, they bought mixed rice while 4of us shared a KFC party meal. Had a bountiful of laughs watching the season premiere of singapore idol.
Can't bother to continue following the show. It just gets boring after all the hopefuls make a fool of themselves on tv.

So far, my holidays have been spent tanning &lots of walking around. R & I actually went to IMM on sunday because we ran out of places to go!
Hahahaha. Don't ever think of going there.
It's boring &the people there look funny. The nice part of the whole trip there was the dinner at swensen's.
Managed to catch "The hangover" & "The proposal" during this holiday period. Super fabulous shows; a must-watch for movie buffs.
I, for one, am definitely looking forward to "The final destination" coming out this week. I'm not going to miss this for the world seeing that I've actually watched the first 3.
More tanning action going on later. Can't wait for thursday morning to come because I'd be out of this boring place!
Sadly, it's only for a day so I'll make the most of it &not hold anything back. After this holiday ends, it'll be the prelude to working life & I can foresee that it's not going to be nice; AT ALL.

Skipped revision lecture today because R was not feeling up to it. Probably exhausted from all the moving of boxes.
Went to town to catch 'the hangover'. Show started at 9.10pm so we walked around orchard for 5hours.
Am saving money to take R to malaysia for a day for his birthday so I didn't spend anything on clothes. Feeling really proud of myself.
Seems like I can actually save money if I want to. Just takes a lot of resistance towards temptations.
Anyway, the movie was awesome sh*t! You all should reeeeeally watch it if you haven't &if you've, you should probably watch it again.
That's what I'm planning to do, I think. It was basically just laughter &comedy from start to finish.
We were all laughing during the start of the credits too. You should really watch.
Best laughs you can ever get this month. Back to school tomorrow &my group is going to get back our grade for services marketing report.

My days are so mundane that they seem to all just blend in together &I'm losing track of time. I just can't wait for tests to be over so I can have my long-awaited short break before internship starts.
Went to supperclub last night with siti &crystal for the snow white party. Not my kind of crowd; rich &bitchy looking people.
However, a number of cute guys made up for the lack in familiar faces. Got kind of high.
Going to a club without a boyfriend for the first time was really liberating. Boyfriend or not, I can't wait to club again.
Oh, not forgetting to mention that the music there kind of sucked. Some old, some unheard of &some just got cut off and the crowd was drowned in 5seconds of awkward silences.

I think my hamster is going to give birth soon! Like any minute, I think.
Anyway, since THAT hell-ish friday, nothing exciting has actually happened. My pub's 6th anniversary just passed last saturday &it was CRAAAAZY!
Got $20worth of tips & a guy gave me $10 because I helped him choose 4D and toto numbers. Haha!
Singaporeans! Tsktsk.
The reports are all in &am half way through presentations now. So far, the presentations have been good (:

Fell sick on tuesday &decided to make myself better by doing some retail therapy. Bought a top &had dinner with R and I was feeling much better at the end of the night.

You guys out there shouldn't complain when your girlfriend shops too much. It makes her happy so you guys won't quarrel &it increases her libido.
Go find out what 'libido' means &you will see why it's good. However, if she's shopping with YOUR money, then you should seriously say something.
Last sunday marked our 21st month together. Had lunch at queensway's ikea on saturday because we wanted to try the chicken wings & I wanted to get cheap shoes from charles and keith.
The meal was awesome but the shoes were disappointing. Crossed over to cotton on &got a pair of sandals for $10 :D

Went blading on sunday with yilong, teresa, benedict &alvin k at east coast. Just the usual stuff other than a guy having a cardiac arrest while jogging &an ambulance came.
OH! I fell... because a lady was crossing & I shouted 'excuse me'but she just stopped dead in my tracks. I was going so fast that, OBVIOUSLY, I couldn't brake in time.
So I just grabbed her &fell on my buttocks. Haha!
Today was services marketing presentation &all went well. One more formal presentation &we are all done!
But having being done with presentations means the end-semester tests are coming.
And no doubt about that, I've 2papers next week. I seriously need to club.
I know I'm not a fan of clubbing but I just need to get high &feel the heavy beat of clubbing music. I want to club soooon!

Okay. I haven't been blogging as I see no point in it, really.
And most of my days are pretty much repetitive. However, R has been really bugging me to start blogging again.
I guess it's for memory keepsake. So, I'll try to be committed to this blog again.

Almost 1whole month since I ever hit the "create a new post" button. Have been spending A LOT of time watching cable though.
Guess 19years of deprivation of cable is finally sinking in. First week of school just started today &tests results will be released this week.
Did my fair share of studying but I think I've been taking things too lightly this semester. Probably screwed up 2of my papers.

Have been busy working &spending whatever I earned. Really need to make a mental reminder to pay the town council &cable bills.
One is already overdue. Sh*t.
Oh! My younger sister turned 5years old on 30 may. Didn't get to celebrate it with her because I was working.
Seriously, I haven't been fulfilling my duties as an older sister. It's either I've made earlier plans, I went out the night before &spent the next day sleeping in or I'm down for work.
My father mentioned that he might take her with him when he finally goes overseas to work again. "That's if everything falls into place" - father.

Remember my 2new hamsters? I'm pleased to say that they're both alive but the female did a "prison break" twice so far.
And I decided to name the male one "alvin" because he has a big butt (no offence!), eats &sleeps. Bought them a green hamster ball, like the one the hamster in "bolt" was in.

2weeks of term break went by REEEEEALLY fast. My father got me 2weeks free gym pass to true fitness. Been there twice last week.
Once was to go for a class that encompasses boxing, taekwando, karate, taichi etc. Since I haven't really been exercising, the class was pretty tough when it hit the 30minute mark.
My legs were feeling as heavy as lead but I made it out alive. Showered with another woman in the same cubicle!
All that separated us was this thin wall. I saw her saggy butt!
The weekend that just passed was also filled with exercise. Sary & I went blading at east coast.
Initially went there with the intention of renting skates &blading all the way to changi but they only allowed that for bicycles. So we're planning to go back another time &fulfill what we wanted to do.
Really crunch time for her as she's leaving in... 20days. Busy girl rushing around trying to do stuff with everyone.
A farewell party is going to be thrown for her so I'm really looking forward to it. I bet she is too.

There's no class for me tomorrow :D

So I'm giving tuition before heading off to the gym for another class. Really want to make use of the free pass.

This week was awesome. School is good & I've a feeling my group for this semester will have no problems working together.
The only thing is whether we can get any work done since we're always talking. My boss has asked R to work at my bar.
So now, we're colleagues as well. At least I'm not always working with him (R, it's not a bad thing).
Went for the long-awaited beer fest on labour day. Wasn't really up to expectations.
There are definitely a lot of room for improvements. First would be to get better entertainment.
Preferably bands that play nice music &have lyrics to their songs? The beer we tasted were good, something different & I got to bring home a souvenir.
Took a cab down to orchid country club after that to celebrate benedict's colleague's 21st birthday. The suite was HUGE though there wasn't much of a party going on.
More of like a hangout session. Got home at 6am &was awaken by my sister and mother talking about "something running away".
They were talking about the hamsters that my sister brought back home from my cousin's house. Woke R up &headed to hougang mall to get cage, food &bedding for the new additions to the home.
It has been a really long time since I've had a pet. That explains the excitement.
One of them came close to dying because my sister almost drowned it when she tried to bathe it &she keeps terrorizing them by spinning them on the wheel and covering them with the bedding. I swear they're going to die soon. My sister is like a godzilla to them.
At least they get the next 5days of peace &they are sleeping with me inside my room. Heh.
Blading today with R was painful - for him. He fell 4times(?) while I came close to falling once.
Today's weather was really awesome to be by the beach. Had dinner at subway before heading home to catch the remaining of x-men: the last stand & s factor.
Talking about s factor brings me to a WHOLE new topic which I can talk about for hours. Nothing good about it, though.
Shall leave the ranting about that horrible show to another day. First project meeting at 1pm tomorrow.
I really wonder how that's going to turn out. And my hamsters are fighting again (random).

The title of this post, COMPLETELY chosen at random, is so damn true. I'm getting old!
Probably explains why I keep forgetting to blog. Or maybe it's just the laziness syndrome of the holidays but it's definitely not affecting the party side of me.
Sooooooo, a trip back to 3weeks ago. Shit man, I need to make blogging a regular thing.
The birthday surprise by R &sary was awesome. Everyone dear to me was present.
Crazy party ribbon spray, poppers &chocolate cake with whisky! Thank you for making turning 19 just a tad more special.
Birthday itself was spent lying in bed at home because of fever but I made up for it by partying at double o on friday THE 13th.

Cheap drinks &music that was from MY time. However, partying &sleeping for 2hours before leaving for malacca was a deadly combination.
So the valentine's trip to malacca was kind of sucky because I was puking on the way there &feverish throughout. We still had our fun shopping, tanning, sightseeing(wthell!) &ordering room service for supper!

And well, the past 2weeks have been spent working, tutoring, going out &meeting up with people whenever possible. Managed to catch he's just not that into you &my bloody valentine 3D too.

One is an awesome chick flick that gets kind of draggy in the middle while the other is a freaking bloody massacre of people in 3D! I say that the second movie is a MUST watch - freaking awesome!
And also, not forgetting to take a girl named sity out for timbre to celebrate her 18th birthday.
We'd pizza, beverages on the rocks, dark chocolate cake &wonderwall as a song request.

Despite finally turning 18, this girl still needs to know what's right &wrong. She is confuuuuuused!!!!
There needs to be some knocking done &that's knocking sense into her little head. Not going to be easy though.
Anyway, I'm finally on the latest page of my life. Party-ed over the weekends, 3nights in a row.
First was some party at aloha changi hosted by lester. The best I've ever had.

Met some familiar faces &some new ones. I kept to the theme of the party "intoxication" &got MYSELF intoxicated.
Nothing beats feeling high. The next night was movie marathon &pizza!!!
Movie pick of the night: the rocker &oh in ohio. Basically, it was just a chillout, not-so-healthy night to get the alcohol out of our systems.
Sunday was sity's chalet. BBQ-ed, crashed someone's party, watched guys' body parts get licked by ethan (we barely knew him for 1hour), went back to the chalet &drank somemore while waiting for the first 4wheel drive home.

Right now, I'm just looking forward to this weekend. Don't really have plans yet but I'm pretty sure something will bounce.

I stayed home &made several futile attempts to study but I've yet to exactly concentrate and get information into my head. Sitting in one corner of my room surfing around aimlessly, I did some thinking subconsciously &decided to blog.
Funny how a person who is single feel so lonely and wants to have a partner to feel loved. When this person finally finds someone he/she thinks can love, the first few months or even years are happy &blissful as the couple are still getting to know each other.
After that bliss, somehow, ends, the person can't help but feel irritable, impatient &unloved and ends up concluding that being single was better. When something finally breaks the ice, the relationship falls apart &the person goes back to being single AND enjoys it.
However, this happiness only last for awhile before the whole vicious cycle starts all over again. I think for this cycle to stop, those in a relationship or going into one should remember this:

"A couple should look for that 1% they have in common &put 100% effort in maintaining it."

Somewhere along that line. You should get my drift & I'm not loving you any less or getting bored.
I'm just not loving the way you are because you weren't like before. You ARE boyfriend material just not the lasting, durable kind for now.
You need to go through tweaking, processing, adding other stuff, taking away certain things before you actually become the supportive, strong &reliable material. Right now, you're like wood.
Sturdy &strong enough but nothing is ever enough. As time go by &you remain the same, termites are just going to eat you away.
I need you to be like metal or titanium or something EVENTUALLY. Not IMMEDIATELY.

Another week has just gone by. I'm starting to feel the signs of aging.
Certain information are hard to process & I'm lagging at different times of the day. And I've been feeling dizzy &faint.
Not exactly the way I'm suppose to be feeling when I'm turning 19. Submissions are all done with & I'm left with one LAST test on monday and I finally get to enjoy my holidays!
Anyway, wednesday was my father's birthday which completely slipped my mind until my mum text me to remind me to wish him. He's another year older &from I heard from my cousin when we met during chinese new year, I've a feeling he hasn't been doing well.
Of course when my cousin told me this, I put up a brave front as always as just didn't show any concern. However, at the back of my mind, I was dying to know what is wrong with me.
Although I may have hated him in the past &may still bear grudges now, I'm still a part of him after all and he actually played a major part in making me the way I'm today. At really rare times, I miss him but most of the time, I don't really think about him.
The strong-willed &independent girl that I'm today is basically built around the obstacles that I faced &how he wanted me to live HIS dream. Cliche movies of parents choosing everything for their children because they want to see their children live THEIR dream?
That was exactly what I went through. However, because of his weird principles &persisting that he was making the right decisions for me, I came to make decisions on my own and actually am prepared to account for my future.
Him opposing what I wanted for my life be it in studies or relationships taught me how to rationalise &reason things. And it definitely wasn't an easy ride.
Tears were shed, rods weren't spared &voices were raised. The relationship between my parents which I feel that he caused it to end up this way taught me a very big lesson in life.
Marriages aren't easy &it takes two hands to clap. I'd to break up fights that went on in the middle of the night &go to school the next day with swollen eyes.
Just seeing the violence that is shown on TV drama actually unfold in front of my eyes, made me promise myself that such a thing won't ever happen in my life. Through this whole ordeal in my short 18years, I've learnt how to cherish, love, understand, be strong, handle situations, be mature, listen &MANY OTHER THINGS WHICH I CAN'T THINK OF RIGHT NOW.
All in all, the man who made my life some sort of a "hell on earth" has actually played a huge role in my life. Ironic but true.

Another week gone by &another week closer to my 19th birthday. Unfortunately, our plans to spend my birthday AND valentine's overseas got spoilt because of school.
So we're just spending valentine's weekend overseas. Oh well, it's better than nothing.
Chinese new year was as usual. Dinner at my cousin's place then headed to ben's aunt's place to gamble for day 1 followed by gambling at melvin's place for day 2.

Then it was back to school for a presentation & end-semester test for the next 2 days. To add to the busy-ness of the week, I'd to give tuition &work at night after school.
Thank God I didn't have to work yesterday. So, R & I made use of the day to shop &walk around.
Went for the flea market at homeclub &bought a dress. I think I've a thing for dresses now :x

Walked around marina square &suntec before catching bride wars. The movie was awesome!!!!!

Kate hudson was gorgeous! Anne hathaway was pretty too but in my opnion, she kind of looks like a fish.
Maybe it's because of her big, round eyes. Heh.
Anyway, at the end of the movie, a funny feeling came to me. Maybe it was because of the movie.
A movie about people getting together &being happy. And I thought to myself a thought that never occured to me after watching so many movies.

For the short 2hours of the movie, it felt like everyone in the theater were friends. We laughed at the same things &cried at the sweet moments.
Even when someone made a comment out loud, no one bothered because for that moment, everyone was on the same frequency. It's like during the whole movie, there's that silence which is holding everyone together but once the credits start to roll, that silence is broken &everyone is snapped back into reality.

Took a bus home &caught the first half of manchester united playing against everton. Enough of fun, time to get down to finishing up my CRM IJ &studying for tuesday's paper.

2 weeks since my last post. That is awfully long.
Laziness, tiredness &time got the better of me. And right now, all I feel like doing is heading to town.
Don't ask me why. I'm in a going-out mood but I'm so lazy!

Anyway, projects &presentations are almost done :D

However, my cash on hand is some sort of an all time low. I think I ought to open up my notes &start studying instead of lying in bed the WHOLE day watching tv.
Have met siti twice this week. I guess it's all good.
Went for a gig on saturday, tanning on tuesday &shopping on friday. I guess she's a lost friend who has finally returned (:

It's really nice to be hanging out again after certain issues tore us apart for sometime. Misunderstandings need not be explained.
We just placed the past behind &picked up from where we left off. And it feels like we've been there for each other all along.
But right now, she's "gone". Busy holiday-ing in langkawi.
Pfft. I can't wait for MY holidays to come.
Should start saving whatever cash I've so that plans for february will come true. Went shopping with R yesterday.
Ran errands, bought some clothes &groceries in preparation for the steamboat at my place. First time after a loooooong time that everyone's present last night.

Kind of nice but not exactly eventful. Gatherings like that ought to increase but the enthusiasm level has to increase even more!

This is what that has been taking up space in my planner this past week. I shouldn't be even blogging since I've to make use of every waking hour to finish a whole report that is due on monday.
New furniture is arriving tomorrow. Awesome-ness.
My stomach is aching. My brain is malfunctioning.

Happy 2009! A new year to look forward to, a year older &365 more days to live life and have fun!
School this week wasn't really school for me. I didn't have classes &skipped some.
Went on monday to hand in my individual assignment &self-declared the rest of the week holidays still! Awesome-ness.
New year's eve was spent at marina bay. R got tickets to the platform thingy.
Sat there &watched the show which was dumb. Entertained myself with the camera &waited for 11:59:50pm to come.

Counted down, watched the fireworks (which was shorter than usual), squeezed with the masses that went to catch the fireworks &ended up at clarke quay. Headed to sunset bay for the "after party" which got "trashed" because some chee-nah guys started a fight there.
Really senseless people. Why would they want the start 2009 on an unhappy tone?
Have a fistful of fun rather than a fistful of fights! Ignorant bastards.
Police were involved but the culprits got away before they came. The party mellowed DOWN DOWN DOWN &we stayed back after they locked the place up.
Ordered breakfast from macdonalds, added jim beam to our cokes, futile attempts to get high at 6am, walked to the main road to get transportation home.

I've to interrupt to say this. The weather is EFFING awesome right now.

Anyway, came down with high fever yesterday. Luckily it subsided & I'm fine now except for the aching body.
And I think I slept in an awkward position yesterday night. Now my neck hurts when I turn my head to the right &my gum is swollen.
The fever is gone but I'm having trouble moving &eating. This really sucks.
Not exactly how I pictured 2009 to begin. I just hope it gets better &not worse.
Think I'd better start on my other individual assignment which is due this sunday! Going down to ikea tomorrow to get me new furniture.

It's christmas week!!!! The weather is definitely feeling christmas-y.
Just that it's cold &rainy instead of snowy but it's good enough. Makes homes &parties feel much warmer.
I've seriously lost track of what I've been doing recently. I've been working but am taking a break until new year's.
Been christmas shopping, going out, making full use of whatever is left of the holidays. Have yet to complete my IJs :x

Guess I'll have to burn today on it. Heh.
R & I went camping last week. The weather was great &the sky was veryvery clear.
Managed to stargaze after a longlong time. Really nice feeling.

I miss pasir ris a lot! ):

I shall buy a house in pasir ris when I'm older. Had pre-christmas BBQ at pasir ris park with the usual company.

It's been awhile since we all met up so it was nice. The food was good too which is self-explanatory because I was the "cooker" (as yilong claims) for the night.
Got pretty high on 3cups of jim beam coke. Hah.
Went clubbing last night, aka christmas eve. Virgin clubber in the house yo!

Wanted to go to mimolette but stuck with zouk instead. I'm feeling the after effects of clubbing still & I'm not liking it at all.
My feet is damn sore because of the dancing &standing. My knees &shin are hurting because I was high, missed a step and fell a few steps down.
Guess I got "souvenirs" from my first clubbing experience. Heh.
Took the first bus home &just slept all the way. There was christmas party or so going on in my house on christmas night.
The usual company came over. Had dinner, drank, played bingo &card games, got insanely high on very little alcohol but on a lot of laughter.
R took me out on boxing day for our 14th. Went to collect my phone which I sent for repair &$4 from cathay which they overcharged me.
In addition, I got a free angus, thongs &perfect snogging notebook! Awesomeeee.
Headed to millenia walk for dinner at outback steakhouse. The food is delicious &nicely presented.

Unfortunately, I couldn't finish my dish but I enjoyed the aussie cheese fries the most. Their sour cream sauce is FAB!
Their drinks are free flow too &are served in beer mugs. Very worth the money.
Went to this bar at SMU after that to catch the second half of manchester united vs. stoke city. There were 2bands playing also.
Probably students from SMU itself. R stayed over &went home yesterday while I headed to pasir ris park for a BBQ with my primary school classmates.

It was nice seeing such a good turnout.

The food was nice but I couldn't eat much because I was feeling awful the whole night. Some sort of an indigestion.
Played cards, talked nonsense &just soaked in the ambience the whole night. Can't wait for the next time when we meet up again.
It always nice to meet up with old friends every now &then. Anyway, merry christmas to all of you!!
Hope you'd fun eating turkey, partying &getting drunk! Shall start on my IJs now.

What a sucky way to end the christmas week.

It's a sunday &tomorrow is a public holiday! At least I've one more day to study.
Haven't been studying lately. It's so unlike me.
Usually, I'd stick to my study schedule but this time round, I'm slacking off &saving it to the last minute again.
Like how I did in secondary school. Took my sister to watch madagascar 2 on 21st november.
It felt like I was taking 2children to the movies. R was more excited about the movie than my sister was.
Heh. It was good &funny.
Went to town to catch the flea market but unfortunately, there wasn't any. Bought a top from cotton on instead.
Skipped school last tuesday &spent our 13th at jack's place and the esplanade. My first time eating there &it was goooood.

I love the whole baked potato thingy with the bacon bits &all. Yummmmmay!
Caught the sallys at the esplanade at night. They've just launched their album &they're awesome!
I like 2songs of theirs, lady marmalade &amor and they're an awesome crowd pleaser. Everyone just loved them &majority of their fans are malay.
Heh. I don't see why not.
Started a new bar job at a place in serangoon gardens last thursday. The place is alright, I guess.
No chinese karaoke to listen to &everyone there's english speaking. Plus, a band plays there every saturday &they show soccer matches.
Worked again on thursday &yesterday. Yesterday was pure chaos.
The place is packed that I'd to squeeze around everyone. Work ended at 5am.

Went blading at east coast with R today. Went to big splash to browse through a car boot flea market held by 8days.

However, I was expecting more to buy from there but oh well. Went to serangoon gardens for dinner before heading home to study & R went to work.
Just finished reading through my IM notes. Shall go through it one more time.

So, what's been going on? Met sary on tuesday after a looooooong time to catch up on life.
She's such a different girl. Finally falling in love &going through ups and downs.
I've a gut feeling that things will be great after her A levels. Females' instincts are always right.
So, worry not, my dear love. Everything's going to be okay.
Good or bad, I'm always a call away. Looks like I'm in a rhyme-y mood too.
School on wednesday, tutoring at hougang after &met her again in city hall. Took her to timbre arts house for dinner.

Wanted to make up for lost time &to take her mind off things. Had a fantastic time talking about our past.
Ex-boyfriends &all. Looking back at our history, we just couldn't stop laughing.
Chungyin came to join us around 9. Talked a little & I was hoping to catch shirlyn tan perform.

However, although it stated on the blackboard that she was performing, she didn't appear on stage ):

I was soo looking forward to catching her. The next time I get to see her perform, I'm getting her album FOR SURE.
Anyway, paid the bill &headed to the newly opened marina barrage to take a look. And WOW, believe me when I say the view is awesome.
It'll be awesome-r when the integrated resort is completed. The whole skyline of singapore would be simply breathtaking.

I've been virtually dead due to bad internet connection. Life for me has been mundane yet busy.
Every free day I've had to be made use of properly. Tutoring &working has been a routine thing.
Met chungyin the other day &headed to concorde shopping centre to collect my free stuff from cleo magazine. Interviewed at grapevine but somehow, I decided to turn the job offer down eventhough I got hired.
Guess I didn't feel like packing my schedule. Collected my pay for 4days of work on saturday &headed to the home electronics fair at suntec yesterday to get my long awaited mp3.
It felt really good paying for it. Finally, something expensive that I could get on my own :D

Got undergovernment at 3for $10at some sale in suntec. Awesome!
I really like it. There are stars on it.
Heh. Window shopped, had dinner &took a bus home.
A fruitful weekend, I think. A new week has just started &there are soooo many things to do for projects.
I'm still feeling very lost. Anyway, I'm finally meeting sary for dinner tomorrow.
Her A levels is ending soon but she's going through a really tough time. So, as the sarah I'm to her, I'm going to try &make things right for her tomorrow.

It's raining like someone's fully-loaded bladder broke loose. Didn't make it to school today.
That's bad. Real bad.
It's only the 3rd week of school. This better not keep up.
I've to be more studious &be a nerd and be hyped up about school EVERYDAY. Anyway, halloween weekend just passed.
We headed to home club to PAAAAAAARTAY! It's nice to see tonnes of people dressed up but there were many others not dressed up too.

I already have loads of ideas on what to dress up next year. I was practically ranting about it for half of the night.
It has been a long time since I got high. The atmosphere was awesome.

Yesterday's looooooong day apparently went by fast. School was alright &work was nothing.
Hah. There were only 2occupied tables last night.
I practically spent 3 out of 4hours of my work sitting down and choosing songs to listen to. Heh!
School today was by like WHOOOOOOSH. And after giving tuition, I'm $60richer :D

Too bad I don't really have the time to spend my money. Lol.

Hopefully we get to go to zouk or some other club to party the halloween night away as planned tomorrow!

A long weekend has just passed. Back to school.
Dreary morning &classes. Friday was spent in school, giving tuition, picking up my sister &taking her home and celebrating lejin's birthday.
Went to haji lane for shisha. Walked to clarke quay for supper &scouted for a place to drink but everywhere seemed expensive.
Woke up on saturday &ran a few errands before taking a cab to work. Work was good.
The people are friendly, they aren't so strict, work was easy as soon as I got a hang of it. The hours flew by & I made $54 just like that.
Awesome. Work again tomorrow after school &tutoring.
Grrr..... a part of me is looking forward to it but another part of me is dreading having to stay awake for SOOOOOOOO long. Got a lift home &was awaited by R standing on an overhead bridge. Over 100 lightsticks led the way up the overhead bridge. Candles formed the shape of a heart &lightsticks made "12".
Hugs &kissses and stories of work filled the air as we walked back to my place. R slept over, lazed around on a sunday morning in bed.
We both got ready &he came to pick me up in the evening and headed to chijmes. Walked around &surveyed the restaurants before choosing le baroque.

Ordered main courses, cocktails, 1-for-1 heineken beer &watched the chelsea vs liverpool match.
The match was exciting. People were shouting, clapping &majority were liverpool fans.
It's been awhile since I'd actually enjoyed a soccer game. I'm definitely looking forward to more nights just sitting somewhere nice, drinking &watching soccer or talking about everything.

Walked to the grand cathay &bought tickets for tropic thunder.

It's major-ly hilarious &stupid but enjoyed totally. Took the nightrider home &so ended the 365th day we've been together.
Spent deepavali sleeping, watching shows on tv, napping &watching more shows on tv. Despite all that sleeping, I'm still feeling very lethargic.
Thankfully, school went by fast today. And tomorrow is going to be an uber-ly long day.

So.... I'd my first performance in school. First performance with a band EVER.
It was VEEEEEEERY nerve-wrecking. Like nail biting, lips quivering, teeth chattering kind of nerve-wrecking.
My legs were wobbly. My hands were cold &clammy.
I went off key at one part but I guess the overall thing was great. I guess the jamming on tuesday served it's purpose.
And I wouldn't mind doing it again. I'm getting some kick out of it.
It's like a dream come true. Or maybe more like a fantasy.
Thankfully, melvin, andrea, daphne &bhavna were there. It was really soothing to see familiar faces in the crowd.
Because you know that even when you suck, your friends still love you. Hah!
I got my first night job too. It's at some bar-cum-restaurant along serangoon road.

I got hired right on the spot & I start work this saturday at 5.30pm :D

They don't seem to have many customers so I'm keeping my fingers crossed that the job will be easy. Besides, the pay is okay?
And it's near my place. Awesome-ness.
Had CDS today. I got music expressions &application.
Seems like it's going to be another fun ride. Well, all I've to say is that this semester is starting out just fine.
Everything's falling into place nicely &nothing's going to stop me now. I'm just hoping tutoring &working at night won't get in the way of my projects.
It never did affect my studies or whatsoever before. So I'm not going to let it happen now.
Not at this stage where everything's crucial. I've always been superwoman, I'll continue being superwoman.
Yeah!!! Self-motivation before I hit the sack &set the alarm for 9am.

I managed to wake up &reach school on time but I hate tuna-packed buses. They make me feel nauseous.

Job hunting has begun. One interview scheduled for tomorrow.
Lecture, jamming followed by interview. Tired-ly exhausting.
Luckily, there's no marketing lecture on wednesday. That means that no one I know will be watching the performance at design school.
Aweeeesome. However, just thinking about it is giving me butterflies in my stomach.

School is starting in 11hours. Oh man.....
I've class at 9am tomorrow. Grrrrr.
I don't like me new timetable. However, complaining will do no good so I shall just live with it.
Rehearsal on friday was a major disappointment. Timing got pushed from 2to 4pm.
They took soooooooo long to set up the equipment that it only started around 6ish. Sheeshkebab.
Final run through tomorrow &the drummer can't make it. What an ass.
Hopefully, wednesday's performance will be good. Not setting my hopes high though.
Brought my sister to east coast park with alvin, donovan & R over the weekends. Thankfully it didn't rain.

Bladed for 90minutes, watched her play at the beach &had dinner at the lagoon. So very very tired.
Sent her back to my aunt's place with 100pounds lighter on my shoulders but 100pounds heavier on my heart. It kills me to see her like that.
She didn't want to go back &it took all my patience to persuade her to go into the house. As I walked away, tears wouldn't stop flowing.
It's so unfair to her &it pains my heart to see it. He wanted to bring her into this cruel world just because of his momentary faith in Christ again, saying how it's not "right" to abort.
When she was born, he wanted to "put her up for adoption" so that he could get money to pay off his debts. How heartless can this man be?
Right now, after long emotional hurt in the family, he's almost non-existent in our lives but my mother don't seem to be doing her duty anymore. She doesn't pick my sister up, I do.
She seldom takes my sister out, I'm the one. She hardly spends anymore time with her.
She's busy being immature &caring more about her boyfriend and friends. This world is cruel.
Too cruel &my sister isn't ready to face it yet. I want 3years to fly by fast.
Until then, I should stay away from chocolate &all until wednesday is over. My throat is hurting already.

So sunday was spent sitting in front of the computer playing 1hour free trial games :D

After tuition today, R and I went to for island creamery &photo taking at a railway track. Photos didn't turn out the way I'd expected them to be.

Firstly, there was this huge neon orange sign that said "no photography" &there was this man sitting at the station but he disappeared.
We were so afraid that he'd come running towards us all of a sudden. Well, at least we didn't leave empty handed.
We actually saw a real choo-choo train go past. Yup, the old school ones that run on coal.
Tried the best we could to get as many shots possible before the sun went down. Took a bus down to island creamery &shared a banana split.

Flavours were cookies &cream, very berry and reverso. Not too bad.
We were damn bloated. Took a bus home &had sushi.
My mum spent hundreds of dollars at ikea &giant. I'm planning to ask her for $500 to change the furniture in my room by the end of the year :D

I can't wait for school to start. Actually, not really.
I wonder if project groups will remain the same. If they do, I really hope I can patch things up with my groupmates &start on a clean slate.
Right now, I'm just anticipating the release of my timetable. I need to start looking for a job before school starts.

Okay... another eventful week just went by. I shall get used to updating once a week before making it a more regular &frequent kind of thing.
Sometimes, I'm just to lazy to turn on the laptop. It takes forever to start up.
Anyway, my pay is finally in but it's a bit to late for R & I to go on a getaway to batam so we're using every single day to go out and spend. Hah!
Caught big stan on tuesday &had waffle ice cream from gelare. AT LAST!

The waffle was fluffy &the ice cream was smooooooooth but I, personally, think that the pricing is a tad too high. What do you think?
And big stan was a shocker? I mean, what would you expect from a movie when the lead actor is rob scheider?
COMEDY! There were many buckets full of laughter &some serious fighting scenes.
Bought 3new books from this book sale at e!hub for $12 because I'd already finished the 3which I bought from the popular sale. Reading is my old-ly new hobby again.
Ran to catch the last bus back to hougang. Been awhile since I ran for last buses.
Yesterday was a loooooong day. Woke up, got decked out in white before heading to town for my facial :D

R said I had a radiant glow after that. Honestly, I didn't see any difference.
Lol! My face just felt really smooth &smelt like flowers.
Caught house bunny. Another really funny show.

I never fail to crack up at the parts when she repeats people's names in that low, rough voice. I guess the show tells us that there's no ugly girls, just lazy ones.
Ran a few errands before meeting the rest at changi &headed to russell's whitewash party. I was expecting EVERYONE to be wearing white but apparently it was only a minority.

At least those who came in white were sporting enough. Awesome people.
Sat around, drank, talked, watched alvin poked a random dude's butt &many other random stuff that happen at parties. Didn't really take pictures.
It was only for like 5minutes where we were just snapping away with the camera &then we stopped, walked to the bus stop & R and I took a cab back. Slept in, brunched, went flea marketing, bought a necklace, shopped in far east &got a t-shirt at 50% discount :D

Jamming tomorrow at 7pm. It's for an upcoming event at design school during the 1st week of school.
Pretty nervous. First time I'm going to be singing with a band.
I think it's really weird yet surreal. Anywho..... will the food in my tummy please digest faster!?

Tiff-anyone? I just had a share of it.
And my mum's friends are in the living room karaoke-ing AGAIN. Utterly horrible.
This day is shitballs. I'm stuck in my room reading a book &turning the radio as loud as possible to drown out their drunk cries.
